Christmas Tree Ornaments and Lidded Boxes
All of the Christmas tree ornaments featured here are turned by Robert.
- approximately 2-1/4" in diameter x 7" long
- globe sections of the ornaments are generally turned out of broadleaf maple burl
- "icicles" are usually made out of oak, but can be turned out of cherry, ash or walnut
- In most cases are finished with satin spray lacquer
- Painted ornaments are turned by Robert and then painted by his wife Susan

Christmas ornament. "The Gospel according to Mark." The globe and icicle are turned in ambrosia maple. The beginning of the Gospel according to Mark is written in miniature on the globe in archival ink and is then sealed with lacquer. These ornaments are custom orders. $150 plus shipping.

Lidded Boxes | |
